The
following pages contain lists of the boys who were at Varndean Boys' School
from 1884 to 1975 (including the Mixed School 1972-75). I have sorted them
into year groups according to age. This assumes that all boys started in
the first form at age 11, or if they started at the school later in life
that they joined the correct year group for their age. This wasn't always
the case, and it is not always possible to determine this from the entry
registers. Apologies to anyone who finds themselves in the wrong group!
Note that some boys started in 1884, but in a higher year group, and there
were no "school" entrants for the years 1974 and 1975.
